STOP PRESS - M&M's bespoke service released in UK!

OH MY GOD!!! I am so completely excited about the fact that M&M's have just launched their bespoke service here in the UK. I personally looked at them last year for my own wedding, but the shipping costs from the US where so extreme even I couldn't justify it (which was maybe the only thing I didn't!) We did however go and visit the M&M Store while on honeymoon in NYC.
With the new customisable chocolate from M&M's you can personalise with a choice of message, eye-catching colours and a range of packaging options, allowing you to integrate seamlessly with your chosen theme or colour scheme. With 12 colours available I am sure every bride will be able to find one to match her colour scheme.

They will be available for the first time in the UK from 1st December 2010, exclusively online. Brides-to-be simply need to log on to www.mymms.co.uk and select their chosen colours, text (up to two lines of eight characters) and packaging.
Prices start from £27.50 for a 300g and why not spice it up and have them as wedding favours with prices from £2.40 per 40g pack with a minimum order of 150 bags.
We love these, and can't wait to order some for the studio! We even thought they might make lovely engagement gift or even what about Christmas Gifts?!

A trip to London, A pair of Ugg Boots and A dear Friend
Oh dear three weeks have passed since we last updated the blog and for that we are very sorry! So where should we start? Lots has been happening here in the MBS Studio, we attended the Designer Wedding Fair in London with our dear friend Yvonne and have come back with lots of ideas. The show was wonderful and has so many lovely stands; our favourite was By Appointment Only. I walked round to their stand and almost fell over it was so impressive – the flowers, the table arrangements, everything was completely stunning! It was truly breathtaking. They may be based in London but are providing flowers for and styling 2 weddings in Scotland next year!
Also we fell in love with the new range from Pronovias, they have some wonderful new pieces and we love their Spanish influence. Yvonne tired on some Pronovia dresses in Harrods. Great experience and the ladies were really helpful. The dresses were no more expensive than those in other shops and the service was outstanding.
Yvonne loved the show and now has a jotter full of ideas in which to work her way through for her big day next October. In fact by this time next year she will already be married! Her lovely hubbie to be surprised her at her work on Friday, which would have been a year to the day till they get married with flowers in the colours they will be using then took her for a yummy dinner to Ondine in Edinburgh - she is one very lucky girl!
We also decided while we are away that it may be time to add another team member - more on this at the end of the week!
Today is also slightly manic here in the studio with 4 orders been posted out to Brides and Bridesmaids all over the country, we would love to show you some pictures but as many of our gowns and hoodies are presents we have to wait until after their big days! But trust me they look wonderful, from reds to purples, to blacks to blues, to pinks to cream, everything is looking beautiful with many of our clients receiving picture/video updates throughout the day, showing actually how it all comes together.
Our last tip of the day, is these wonderful Ugg Boots – perfect for outdoor photos, dancing the night away in and travelling on honeymoon! We may just have to buy a pair to keep they would look wonderful under any dress. Yvonne is currently trying to get hold of a pair in size 3!

Lovely New Products
One of the joys of my job is finding new products; and I couldn't be happier with the new gowns I recently got in as samples. I got two new styles of gowns in - one a new white microfibre gown, which is perfect for both males and females and the other was a new hooded gown.
These gowns are luxurious, cosy and utterly wonderful - and would make a wonderful present for any Bride, Bridesmaid or anyone really. But what I really love is the hooded gown comes in burgundy, silver, white and ivory!
I think my favourite is the burgundy and would make a wonderful Christmas Gift for friends and family personalised for them - I don't want to give to much away but think snowflakes, holly, ivy and their names intertwined......

Kevin & Jaslin - A wonderful Autumn Wedding
I did leave it slightly to the last minute but they looked great, they where fire red with tone on tone embroidery and Bride, Bridesmaid and Mother of the Bride on each of them individually. Jaslin had no idea I was doing them for her, and to see her face when she open them was fab. I never really get to see Brides or Bridesmaid open them so it really was a treat to see her so happy with them. 
The wedding was out at Glencorse House, for those of who have never been it was stunning. It is hard to say what my favorite part of the day was but I would have to say the chapel was truly breathtaking, and Jaslin looked even more breathtaking. Her dress was beautiful with lots of lovely detail, she looked truly elegant. We all thought she looked like a princess, and her dad was lovely he had a little tear in his eye the whole day but then again who wouldn't - he really was a proud father on Saturday.
The day was a great, we all eat too much and drunk to much but it was truly perfect. I have to say I have never seen our friend Kevin look so happy, he couldn't take the smile of his face all day!!
All in all it was a great day, so to Jaslin and Kevin I wish you a wonderful mini-moon and truly wonderful life together.
